Your profile (name, age, gender, height, weight, goals), meal log, journal entries, and photos are stored on your device.
When you scan, the photo is sent to our server and to our AI provider (Anthropic) only to identify the item and estimate calories. We do not keep your photos after the scan. We keep a random app ID and a count of scans to apply scan limits, and we count taps on store links by store and day.
Purchases are handled by Apple and our purchase processor (RevenueCat). We never see your payment details.
If you allow it, your location is used only on your device to find nearby stores.
Store links may include a PicBites tag so partners can credit us. We do not sell your personal information.
PicBites is for adults 18 and older.
You can erase all PicBites data from the app's Settings. Email us for any request.
